Bevo Beaven is a seasoned communications professional who has focused his extensive communications career primarily on the oil and gas industry.

As editor of EnerCom’s Oil & Gas 360® for five years, he led a team of energy reporters covering financial news and analysis in the oil and gas industry, including M&A trends and deals, asset acquisition and company formation within the upstream and midstream sectors.

Bevo has interviewed numerous CEOs in the upstream public company sector as well as leadership of private oil and gas companies, midstream executives, LNG pioneers, private equity firms, energy bankers, global economists and governors of several oil and gas producing states.

He was vice president of corporate communications for Crosshair Energy, a uranium mining startup with potential mines under exploration in Wyoming and Canada, and he served as senior vice president and agency general manager for CTA Integrated Communications (previously Carl Thompson Associates) and as vice president of client relations for Metzger Associates, both Colorado-based public relations firms.

Focused primarily on public oil and gas companies with some renewable energy companies, Bevo’s work includes leading multifaceted marketing, public relations and advertising campaigns; global, national and local media relations campaigns; startup company launches; trade show media coverage; creating product launch media events; media training; writing and publishing annual reports for upstream and midstream oil and gas companies, mining and manufacturing companies; and investor relations functions including non-deal investor roadshows, messaging, crafting news releases, writing CEO speeches, and creating investor presentations.

Bevo has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Alabama. He moved to Colorado after his first time skiing in Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
